Waar is het beter schatzoeken dan op een eiland?
Tijdens het evenement ‘Treasures of the Tradition’ delen zestien deelnemers in de rijke Joodse verteltraditie van de Engelse vertelster Shonaleigh Cumbers. Maar ook iedereen die daar niet bij is, kan op zoek naar verborgen schatten.
Van maandag 10 tot en met vrijdag 14 oktober kan je op zoek naar schatten die op vijf plaatsen op Ameland verborgen zijn. De schatkaart met raadsels en aanwijzingen is te vinden op diverse plekken op het eiland: VVV, hotels, musea.
In elk van de vijf schatkistjes zit een voorwerp, een schat, gemaakt door eilanders en de Engelse kunstenares Josie Beszant. Bij elk voorwerp hoort een verhaal. Je kan dat verhaal live aan je laten vertellen. Heb je een schat gevonden, maak dan een foto van jezelf met de schat op de vindplaats en stuur die via e-mail naar info@opverhaal.nl of via WhatsApp naar 06-23218213. De schat is voor jou en je wint er ook nog twee vrijkaartjes mee voor de avondvoorstelling op 15 oktober in De Plaats in Hollum, waar Shonaleigh Cumbers in het Engels Tales from my grandmother’s lips gaat vertellen.
Heb je de raadsels opgelost maar is er geen schat te vinden? Helaas is iemand je voor geweest. Niet getreurd, geniet van de zoektocht en je kan Shonaleigh haar verhaal natuurlijk aanhoren op 15 oktober in De Plaats. Het begint om 20.00 uur, de entree bedraagt €10.-.

During the event ‘Treasures of the Tradition’ 16 participants take part in the rich Jewish tradition of telling stories. But also whoever is not present then can go look for hidden treasure.
Starting monday october 10th till friday the 14th you can go search for treasure hidden at 5 different spots on Ameland. The map with riddles and clues can be found on multiple location like the informationpoint VVV, hotels and musea. Each of the 5 treasurechests contain a object, a treasure, made by islanders and the English artist Josie Beszant. Each object comes with a story which you can listen live.
